The sources of plasticizers are classified into the following five types!

Plasticizers should be widely used in many products because of their relatively good effect, low dosage, fast absorption speed, good compatibility with rubber, and low volatility. What are the sources of plasticizers? Today, the editor will talk to you about the source classification of plasticizers, hoping to help you.

Source Classification of Plasticizers

1. Petroleum plasticizer

Petroleum-based plasticizers are made by selecting appropriate crude oil for vacuum distillation and atmospheric pressure. The main varieties are process oil, light chemical heavy oil, third-line oil, machine oil, paraffin, vaseline, asphalt and petroleum resin.

2. Coal tar plasticizer

The main varieties of coal tar-based plasticizers are: coal tar, coumarone, coal tar pitch and RX-80 resin, among which coumarone resin is more commonly used, which is both a plasticizer and a tackifier, and is less suitable for synthesis rubber.

3. Pine tar plasticizer

Pine tar is the residual substance after dry distillation of pine roots and pine stems to remove turpentine. The main varieties are rosin oil, pine tar, rosin, tall oil and so on. One of the more commonly used is pine tar.

4. Fatty plasticizer

Fatty oil-based plasticizers are fatty acids, ointments and others made from vegetable oils and animal oils. Among them, stearic acid is an important vulcanization active agent, and ointment: there are black ointment and white ointment. Make carbon black easy to disperse, others include glycerin, castor oil, soybean oil, zinc stearate, etc.

5. Synthetic plasticizer

Synthetic plasticizers are divided into the following types according to the structure: phthalates, fatty dibasic acid esters, fatty acids, phosphates, polyesters, epoxy, chlorine and others.

According to the sources of plasticizers, there are the above five types, among which rubber processing is one of the most used plasticizers. The raw materials of new environmentally friendly plasticizers produced by Tang Zong come from clean and renewable resources. This plasticizer has a plasticizing effect. Relatively good, abundant sources, low cost.
